Buyer’s Name Not Simple.

Everyone knows their name….right? But, how many customers really know how they want to take title? If you don’t get the offer right, the contract will be wrong and may later need an assignment or amendment-which might not be allowed. The Realtor gets blamed when contract is “wrong.” How to take title can involve estate planning, liability issues, financing and even tax consequences that the buyer should discuss with the buyer’s attorney as soon as the buyer starts looking. When writing an offer, don’t just get a name. Work with the buyer to make sure the offer is as the buyer will take title.
