Celebrating Principal Lisa Wentzel & Looking Ahead
After 28 years of faithful service as a teacher and principal, our beloved Prince of Peace school ministry leader, Mrs. Lisa Wentzel, has announced her retirement at the end of this school year.
Mrs. Wentzel has poured her heart into the children and families of Prince of Peace. Her leadership, dedication, and love for our youngest learners have helped make our school a place where children are known, loved, nurtured, and encouraged to Know God, Grow Together, and Serve the World. We are deeply grateful for the countless ways Mrs. Wentzel has served Prince of Peace and our community throughout her ministry.
There will be future opportunities to celebrate Mrs. Wentzel and thank her for the tremendous impact she has made. For now, we give thanks to God for her many years of faithful service and pray for His blessings on this next chapter.
Looking to the Future
As we prepare for this transition, Prince of Peace has already begun the search for the next leader of our school ministries. We invite our congregation, school families, and community to help us identify qualified candidates who have a heart for children, a gift for leadership, and a desire to continue the Christ-centered mission of Prince of Peace’s school ministries.
A complete job description is available below, along with a link to nominate a potential candidate. Individuals interested in applying may submit a resume to searchteam@poplc.org.
