I've been living in the Richmond neighborhood of SE Portland for 6 years in the same place and I'm feeling it's time for a change. I'd love to stay in the general Richmond (SE Portland) neighborhood, but change homes. And, if the right situation appears in another part of Portland, I'm all ears.
If you rent a room in your house or know of a room opening up, please keep me in mind. I'd also be up for house or pet-sitting opportunities this Winter. Here's a little bit about me for you or anyone you know who might like some background information.
I'm Albert. 58 years old and have lived in Portland for 18 years. I'm self-employed in the marketing field. I work from home, and nearby coffee shops. I'm physically active - I like to bike, walk, do yoga and walk Mt. Tabor. I'm also a neighborhood activist and community builder. I like to host gatherings of people for meals and playing music. If you're looking to have a more active and fun social life, bringing me into your house can do that (I have a great social circle). I'm easy to get along with and come with good references from the people I've lived with. I'm a clear communicator and take pride in keeping my space and home in general in great working order. I like to garden, keep houseplants thriving and decorate. I own a Prius, but don't drive it that much. I'm not vegetarian, but lean in that direction. I'm a great sous chef, but not that into cooking. I come with a great vitamix and stereo, but otherwise, don't have much stuff. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
I love kids, but I'm not looking to live with them at this time.
