Hello Run Tucson folks!

Running is such a great sport -- it gives us a reason to exercise, it gives us a chance to test ourselves, ans it brings people together who wouldn't otherwise hang out.

We're grateful that all of you are part of this beautiful community, and we wish you the best in your upcoming training and racing, whether you run, walk, or roll.

Cheers,

Randy and Tia Accetta

Last week was super-busy:

  • Runner's World quoted us in a number of articles recently. One of the articles is about how to re-think the Long Run.

Here's a link to the piece -- if you can't read it online, here's a pdf.

  • Saturday night, we received the GTL Alumni Leadership Award at the Community Impact Awards. We don't normally promote ourselves, but here is the award video that GTL put together about Randy. Thanks to Helen Gomez, Tim Bentley, Greg Wenneborg, Jannie Cox, and Tia for their participation.

Interested in community leadership? Click here for information on applying to the upcoming "Lead Tucson" Program.

You can see the SAR race report here, including details on results, how to pick up awards at The Running Shop, next year's discount, donations to St. Luke's Home, and our thank you to volunteers, partners, and sponsors. You can also see more of Damion Alexander's photos here.
