December 2023 Newsletter

Dear Susan,

I sincerely hope that this newsletter finds you doing well and staying healthy.

As you know, our steadfast dedication revolves around making economic, personal finance, and entrepreneurship education accessible for every K-12 student. To do so, the CEEE is here to equip educators with tailored resources and strategies crucial for nurturing their educational journey. Excitingly, our newsletter features lots of ways in which we're doing just that.

Below, we highlight our recent Fall economic education conference, a forum where innovative educational approaches were explored and embraced. Read on as we spotlight the success of our Family Personal Finance Nights and showcase Dr. Bonnie Meszaros’ induction into the Delaware Women’s Hall of Fame in October, recognizing her remarkable and sustained contributions to the fields of economics, personal finance, and entrepreneurship. We also share our 2023 Annual Report, underlining our commitment to properly outfitting teachers so that they can be successful in the classroom. These and other stories, including upcoming events such as the Economic Forecast, can be found in this newsletter.

In addition to these events and developments, we're particularly excited to be launching the Bonnie T. Meszaros Support Fund, already receiving a generous kick-off contribution from the Delaware Council on Economic Education. Your added support through this fund will significantly impact our ability to continue delivering invaluable student and teacher programs for many decades to come. Thank you!

As the holiday season approaches, we extend heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering partnership. Here's to a season filled with magic and warmth, and a new year brimming with promise and opportunities.

Cheers,

Carlos J. Asarta
