Hello 9^th grade parents! It’s almost time for our 9th-grade field trip to the Nimitz Museum!!!

Location: Nimitz Museum, 311 E Austin St, Fredericksburg, TX 78624

Date: Wednesday, October 7, 2026

We will be loading up on buses at the beginning of 1^st period on Wednesday, October 7^th, and return that day in time for Dismissal. For your student to participate, please click this link to register and sign the permission form.

Without registration completed, your student will NOT be able to attend the field trip.

Please register your student by the September 23^rd deadline!!

There is a $25 fee for each field trip this year. If this is a hardship for your family, please request a Scholarship Form from Ms. Brooke Schultze.

On the day of the field trip:

1. ALL students must bring their own sack lunch. You will notice a “sack lunch” option to add to your cart on the above link if you prefer to get your sack lunch from the school. Students will need to bring their own disposable water bottle.
2. School dress code still applies. Since there is substantial walking involved at this museum, students may wear tennis shoes with their uniform.
3. No cell phone use is allowed.

We will be taking up to 3 parent chaperones for this field trip. If you are interested in chaperoning, please fill out the attached Chaperone Form & do the Background Check found on this website. Please note that all chaperones will have to drive to and from the Nimitz Museum on their own. Mrs. Hailey Johnson will notify you if you will be a chaperone after your paperwork has been fully processed.
