Get Involved & Make a Difference By Joining Our Team!

We're thrilled to introduce you to our inaugural Bronco Family Ambassador program! If you would like to get more involved with our campus community, then this could be just the thing for you.

We're looking for parents, family members, and supporters of current Cal Poly Pomona students that are interested in volunteering. Ambassadors will work directly with Bronco Parent and Family Engagement as volunteers and advisory group members comprised of parents, family members, and supporters of Cal Poly Pomona students.

Ambassadors will:

  • Volunteer to improve the quality of the Cal Poly Pomona experience for students and their families by participating in parent-to-parent panels, providing event assistance and sharing their thoughts, concerns, and suggestions with university staff.
  • Share their unique perspective as parents, family members and supporters of current CPP students in support of the Office of New Student Programs and Family Engagement’s efforts in the areas of outreach and ongoing engagement.
  • Assist in building a greater sense of community and help provide support to our current and prospective families.
  • Support growing engagement opportunities for Bronco families by making decisions and carrying out a joint vision regarding events and family involvement at CPP.

If you would like to be part of our brand-new Bronco Family Ambassador program, apply before 11:59 PM PST on October 16th.

We Are First Session #3: Navigating Evolving Relationships - October 22nd from 2-4pm

RSVP Now Open!

Come join us for session #3 in this inaugural series of workshops designed specifically for parents, family members, and supporters of Cal Poly Pomona students who are the first in their family to attend college. All of these workshops are FREE!

The October workshop will occur on Saturday, October 22nd from 2pm - 4pm

via zoom.

Session Synopsis: We will be discussing how students are going to be exposed to a lot of different thoughts, ideas, and opinions both in the classroom and in social situations during their college careers. They'll likely encounter other students that come from different backgrounds in relation to politics, culture, and sexual orientation among other things. This discussion will explore tools that can help navigate those conversations and how families can support and encourage their students along the way.
