Giving Hope This December

We wish your family a happy holiday season!

December offers many opportunities to help APR pets find their forever homes and to brighten their lives while they wait in our care.

We have a special fundraising initiative for Giving Tuesday that ends December 2nd, and supports our clinic renovation with a match up top 10k. All donations to our general fund will be matched up to $20k through December 31st.

Giving Tuesday - Help expand APR's clinic

Every dollar you give today will be doubled, up to $10,000! From now through December 2nd.

On this global day of generosity, we’re asking you to help us grow - literally.

Our on-site clinic is essential for treating abandoned, neglected and injured animals, but after nearly 30 years we’ve outgrown the space. It can no longer keep up with the number of pets who need care.

Your donation today will help us renovate the clinic so we can save more lives and give more animals a second chance.

You Make Hope Happen - Support Pets Like Peele

All Donations doubled through December 31st, up to $20,000!

Peele, a six year old Hound mix, spent nearly a year living in a car with his mom because it was the only way they could stay together. Thanks to kind people, he came to Abandoned Pet Rescue where he’s now safe, cared for and waiting for a home again. His mom has since secured housing, and their story is a reminder of how powerful second chances can be.

This holiday season, your donation is matched, dollar for dollar, up to $20,000 through December 31st.

As a no-kill shelter funded solely by community donations, we rely on your support to make this possible.

Hollywood | 3 years old

Waiting for a home: 1 year 4 months (489 days total)

Lights, camera, ADOPTION! Hollywood is ready to audition for the biggest role of his life: a forever home. With his dazzling blue eyes, sleek silver coat, and signature seal-like bark, this 70-pound, 3-year-old Weimaraner/Lab mix steals the spotlight wherever he goes. Hollywood walks well on a leash, has excellent house manners, and is as cuddly as a squishy teddy bear. He’s friendly with other dogs (just needs a slow intro), and is a gentle goofball with everyone he meets. Sadly, this superstar was returned to our rescue when his owner had to move, but he’s still hopeful his biggest fan is out there. Until then, he’ll be signing autographs and perfecting his red-carpet strut.
