Spring is in Bloom!

As the vibrant colors of spring begin to bloom around us, we're reminded of new beginnings and the warmth this season brings. We're coming off of a lovely weekend where we had the chance to celebrate one of my personal favorite holidays – Mother’s Day! While we celebrate the special queens in our lives daily, this is always a special moment to pause and honor the women who shaped us with their unconditional love, tireless work, and countless sacrifices.

Whether it was a joyous day spent together or a heartfelt message from afar, we hope you took the time to celebrate the love, strength, and care of the incredible women support and inspire us throughout our lives.

We did it - again! We’re still riding the momentum from the immensely successful and exciting 2025 Meet Boston Regional Career Fair held on April 29! We were thrilled to welcome over 424 enthusiastic job seekers, who engaged with and were interviewed by more than 40 dedicated employers throughout the day.

The event kicked off with an inspiring panel discussion featuring industry experts including myself, Martha Sheridan, President & CEO of Meet Boston, Enrique Pepén, Boston City Councilor for District 5, and Nicole Obi, President & CEO of the Black Economic Council of Massachusetts. Our conversation set the tone for a day filled with meaningful connections, career opportunities, and forward-looking dialogue about the future of our regional workforce.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this event such a standout success – including our panelists and workshop facilitators, the expert stylists and photography team, participating organizations, and every job seeker who came ready to connect. We can’t wait to see how these connections grow into exciting new opportunities!

A very special thanks to the Hyatt Regency Hotel/Boston for hosting us once again, and the Meet Boston and CHA teams. Together we created another spectacular event for the books!

Let’s keep the momentum of connection and communication going by continuing to follow us on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn! Your continued support and engagement with CHA matters and makes a difference in the good work that we’re collectively doing for our great city.

Blessings!

2025 Meet Boston Career Fair

On Tuesday, April 29, Meet Boston and CHA hosted Meet Boston’s 2025 Regional Career Fair at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Boston. This event marks the fourth year that Meet Boston has proudly hosted this career fair, which is just one tenant of their Workforce Development and Supplier Diversity Initiative.

In addition to supporting the meaningful work of Meet Boston to connect our communities with the exciting opportunities in the hospitality and tourism industry in Boston, this partnership aligns with CHA’s mission of connecting and providing access to our diverse communities throughout the city.

The video below conveys just one of the many reasons why I started Conan Harris & Associates.

“The Meet Boston/Conan Harris and Associates Hospitality Career Fair was the highest value career fair our company has attended to date. The organization, communication, and staffing were super helpful and made the process easy. The quality and caliber of participants was stellar. We have had several interviews from this cohort and will be making job offers to the first group next week. Kudos on a well put together and extremely valuable event."
