Happy Valentine's Day!

We LOVE sharing great news!

The Rainbow Club is one of our newest offerings here at The Funhouse! It's a free, bi-weekly club for for LGBTQIA+ middle and high schoolers and their allies. Youth get together to share a meal, have dance parties, play games and watch shows with positive LGBTQIA+ messaging and content. "The goal for this club is to provide a judgment-free, safe space for teens to be their most authentic selves, and provide a sense of connection and belonging within the Orcas community" said Maddie Olson, Youth Development Program Director at the Funhouse. "We have 10 participants on average, and our numbers grow each week! Last week we played some group games, and made vision boards for 2024. Then we watched an episode of Drag SOS. This week we are having a pizza party, a dance-off and watching the first episode of Book of Queer which is a kid-friendly queer history docuseries. I'm really excited to see where the students take this!"
