The Jewish Federation of Omaha is honored to welcome special guests from Israel—Moshe Davidovich, Mayor of the Matte Asher Regional Council, and Ory Rosin, the new Partnership Director. They will share insights about our Partnership region and provide updates directly from those on the ground.

Mayor Moshe Davidovich, born and raised in our Partnership city of Akko, has held numerous public roles, including CEO of Akko Municipality, CEO of the Galilee Development Authority, and Deputy Mayor of Matte Asher. For the past six years, he has served as Mayor of Matte Asher and leads the “Northern Conflict Zone Forum.” He brings firsthand insight into post-war challenges, including security, evacuation, resilience, education, welfare, business, tourism, and future development.

We also welcome Ory Rosin, our new Partnership Director. A 20-year resident of Akko and founding member of the Educators’ Urban Kibbutz, Ory has been involved in Partnership programs for 15 years. He co-founded the software company Drorsoft and previously served in various community leadership roles. Ory brings a unique perspective on strengthening Jewish identity and deepening ties between Israeli and American communities.
