Churchwide Work Day

THIS Saturday, October 31, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon for a churchwide work day. There will be opportunities for landscaping, painting, and cleaning. SIGN UP HERE!

MomCo at Evangel

If you are the mother of a child from prebirth to K5, we invite you to make some mom friends in our MomCo group! Our next meeting is Monday, November 2, from 6:15 to 8:30 p.m. in Quad 208. Dinner is served and nursery is available by reservation. Nursing infants are welcome in our meetings!

Kingsmen Tailgate

Join us on Saturday, November 7, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. as we hang out and eat good food... Tailgate Style! Bring your own meat (BYOM) and a chair, and we will provide the grills, sides, and drinks. There will be live football and lots of fellowship. Bring a friend and come hang out at the Evangel Kingsmen Tailgate! SIGN UP HERE!

The Ladies’ Book Club

will meet on Tuesday, November 10, at 9:30 a.m. at the home of Betty Harris (821 Maplewood Trail, Alabaster). They will be discussing the book Door to Door by Carsen Henn. Come join us!

Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes

are available for pickup in the church foyer today. The deadline to return your filled boxes is Sunday, November 22. Our annual Angel Tree Ministry is launching soon to bless children this Christmas season and we need your help to make it a success!

We are looking for volunteers to assist with filling out Angel tags, manning the atrium sign-up table, and sorting returned gifts. Please contact Dana Martin 205-586-9444 if you would be willing to help or if you have any questions. 

Manna Ministries Holiday Boxes

This year, we will be collecting CORN and BEANS for the Manna Ministries Holiday Boxes. A collection box will be in the church office.

Oak Mountain Ministries Urgent Needs

Canned fruit, jelly, condiments, breakfast foods (cereal, oatmeal, pancake mix, syrup), spaghetti sauce, chili, soups, toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, lotion, toilet paper, and tissues. Please place donated items in the basket near the church office.

Fall Movie Night!!



Friday, November 6th at 5:30 PM- The grass outside of the gym

Bring chairs or a picnic blanket and join us as we watch Homeward Bound. Pizza, popcorn, candy and drinks will be provided. SIGN UP HERE!

if you are looking for opportunities to spend time with your friends, learn more about God's love for you and what He has done for you through the gift of His Son, Jesus, and go on fun outings with your friends...then you need to check out the list of opportunities below that have been planned especially for you during the month of October!

· Wednesday night youth worship from 6:15 to 8:15 p.m. at the gym/youth room - November 4th, 11th, and 18th.

· Sunday night girls and guys Bible studies from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the gym/youth room - November 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd.

· 11th & 12th Grade Guy Bible Study will meet on November 1st and 15th for the study SHAKEN by Tim Tebow. MUST be in the 11th or 12th grade to participate. Please text me at 205.903.5855 if you plan to come so we will have enough food prepared.

· Saturday, November 14th - Fun night of dinner at Chick-fil-a followed by Ice Skating, 6:00—9:00 p.m.
