Dear Friends:
Thanksgiving is approaching, and the Catholic Conference and Formation Center (CCFC) team wishes to convey our gratitude for your support and encouragement. We find a good reason to give thanks in these arduous times as we pause to remember God’s love and His promise of renewal and hope. This hope shines through in our place of reflection and restoration as we continue our mission through gracious hospitality, exceptional service, restful lodging, and purposeful programs. Your support bolsters confidence in our ability to facilitate the ideal retreat and formation experience for individuals and groups in a welcoming and peaceful environment.
CCFC provides a respite for many, a place to step away from the strains of daily life and to receive grace and guidance prayerfully. As the global pandemic often prompts separation, we are committed to staying connected and finding ways to adapt in our ministry and mission. In the past 18 months, we have responded with Covid-19 protocols and continue monitoring and making changes as needed. During this time of adjustment, we also completed building renovations to enrich the experience for our guests:
- Renovation of our permanent chapel. The Guadalupe Chapel sacred space allows up to 30 people to join in worship, reflection, meditation and prayer.
- Installation of AV equipment in meeting rooms and Wi-Fi capability across campus.
- Refurbishment of bathrooms in Casa Seaton #4.
- Enhancement of patio space, nestled between the chapel and Cana Room.
- Installation of concrete handicap access ramps throughout the property.
- Installation of hand wash station.
- Transformation of 900 square feet of storage space into a functioning workroom, carpentry workstation and gardening supply room. (Eagle Scout Project - Alex Chapman).
All of these improvements could not happen without your commitment and generosity; we appreciate your donations, volunteer efforts, shared resources, and prayers.
As we strive to connect people to God and each other, we give thanks and ask God to bestow blessings upon you and your loved ones.
In this season of hope and gratitude, Happy Thanksgiving!
In Christ,
Bertha deBastiani
