Kedron Hawk Signal at the Boat Dock Ramps and North Peachtree Parkway is Now Active

Exciting news for Peachtree City pedestrians, golf cart users, and automotive drivers! Starting Monday, January 6, 2025, the brand-new Kedron Pedestrian Hybrid Beacon (HAWK Signal) is now operational at the Boat Dock Ramps and North Peachtree Parkway.


What You Need to Know:

  • The beacon enhances safety for pedestrians crossing the road.
  • Electronic message boards have been installed to alert drivers about the upcoming activation

Smokerise Basketball Courts will Close from January 6-16, 2025, for Renovations

Smokerise Basketball Courts will undergo renovations and be closed from January 6 to January 16, 2025. We’re working to improve your experience and look forward to welcoming you back to the updated courts on Friday, January 17, 2025.

In the meantime, here are some fantastic nearby options to keep your basketball game on point:

Reminder: Path Closure and Detour Map for

Rockspray Path from January 6-10, 2025

A short section of Path 0702 will be closed for stormwater repairs from Monday, January 6, 2025, through Friday, January 10, 2025. Please use the Detour Map shown above, or by visiting https://peachtree-city.org/CivicAlerts.aspx?AID=1435.

Dividend Drive Closure Alert Beginning

January 13, 2025: Plan Your Route Accordingly

Dividend Drive, stretching from TDK Boulevard to Joel Cowan Parkway, will be temporarily closed starting Monday, January 13, 2025. This closure is essential for CSX track-crossing maintenance.


The CSX team will undertake critical improvements, including removing and replacing old cross ties, surfacing the tracks at the crossing, and completing repaving to ensure a smoother drive for all. This project is part of a six-week initiative, with crews working diligently four days a week, ten hours daily.

Tickets to the 2025 Father-Daughter Dance go on Sale Friday, January 10, 2025

Join Peachtree City Recreations & Special Events for the annual Father-Daughter Dance! This wonderful tradition returns to the Kedron Fieldhouse on Saturday, February 15, 2025, from 5-8 PM. Tickets go on sale online on Friday, January 10, 2025, at 8 AM at www.peachtree-city.org/1446/Recreation-Special-Events and follow the Registration tab to the Activities catalog. Be sure to complete your registration and receive your confirmation via email.


Tickets may also be purchased in person at the Kedron Fieldhouse, 202 Fieldhouse Drive, during regular business hours beginning January 10, 2025. Tickets are $45/couple and $20 for each additional daughter. There is a $20 surcharge for out-of-county registrations. Girls aged 6-13 years are invited to attend with their father or a special male role model in their lives. Get ready to dance, dine, and enjoy a wicked good time!

Join Peachtree City Library and Flow by Naila on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, for a 1 hour de-stressing and relaxation session. The session will begin with 20 minutes of gentle stretches followed by a meditative sound bath using crystal singing bowls, koshi chimes, and a sea drum to guide you into a state of relaxation. Come prepared with a mat, optional eye mask, pillow, and water bottle. Registration is open and required to participate.
