Welcome year 2022! We cannot believe we are already welcoming another year, and 2022 sounds so futuristic. Where are the flying cars?!?!
The start of a new year brings many goals and resolutions for a lot of people. For many it's eating healthier. The Mississippi Farmers Market is just the place to help anyone with a goal of cleaning up their diet or trying to fit in more fruits and vegetables. Everything in the market is locally grown and supports local farmers making it a perfect place to help those New Year's resolutions be met.
Even though in Mississippi we experience all the seasons in one week, most places in January is cold. That is fitting since it's National Soup Month. Soup is one of those foods that fills your soul and your belly. There are so many types of soups out there and you can find the basics to just about any soup at the market. Whether you are on the healthy eating train, giving it another week, or don't care about it all you can find a soup that sounds good to you. Do some searching, make an ingredient list, and we will see you Saturday.
