We love showering your pups with love and attention! Take a look at all the exciting events we have planned for this month and make sure to reserve your dog’s spot in daycare by scheduling in advance. We can no longer accept walk-in daycare appointments. 
Makin' Bacon Day
February 4th
Foundations Fridays are back! For a $5 Donation to the Dogtopia Foundation, your pup will get a turkey bacon treat at naptime.
All proceeds go toward our goal of sponsoring a 2nd service dog for a Veteran!

Valentine's Gift Exchange

We are hosting a Valentine's gift exchange for your pup! Sign up for $8, your pup and their BFFFs will participate in a gift/card exchange! Go home with a special Valentine box filled with puppy love! (Pick up Feb 14)

Our pups give the best love! RSVP for daycare on the 14th to spend a day with their BFFFs who they love the most! Be sure to pick up your gift/card exchange gift if you signed up!
Big Game Tailgate Party

We've waited all football season for this weekend! Celebrate the big game with us with a $5 turkey hotdog treat at naptime!

Introducing Danny!
Danny is a good boy, working hard to become the best companion he can be to a Warrior! For our first sponsored service dog for a Veteran, we have partnered with K9's for Warriors.

An Update from Danny's handler, " Hello! Since our last update (and because of all our hard work over the holidays) Danny's training has progressed to a point where we are increasing the level of difficulty and distraction in the public places that we travel to each day. Not only are we beginning to work in more challenging environments, but my expectations for his behavior have also increased.

This means that in the majority of sessions that we work, I am holding him to a high standard with regards to his focus on his handler, the precision and speed he performs known behaviors, as well as increasing the difficulty of what I am asking from him (working for longer, increasing the distance and duration that he performs cues, etc.).
We are also making time to have fun, of course! We will continue building his confidence in strange locations and with strange noises and people. And we are moving towards more reinforcement in the form of petting and talking to him rather than primarily feeding him for his reward."
" That’s a big deal for service dogs! Kind of like taking the training wheels off a bicycle. My hope is that he will eventually enjoy receiving my love and affection even more than the yummy treats. The next few weeks we will be riding public transportation, learning to be more appropriate when making friends with members of the general public, and perfecting his skills in preparation for his pairing with a Warrior. Thank you for your support!"
