On Your Ballot —

Candidates for Office

This year, WILPF members will cast ballots to fill the following positions, considering these candidates (all running unopposed):

  • Jan Corderman: Treasurer and Finance Committee Chair, full 3-year term, ends January 2029.
  • Eileen Kurkoski: Membership Committee Chair, full 3-year term, ends January 2029.
  • Tina Shelton: Program Committee Chair, 2nd Position, 1 year (completes term), ends January 2027:

Referendum Question on Dues Increase

In accordance with our Bylaws, this year’s ballot will include a member referendum. The proposal in this dues referendum is, basically, to increase the annual dues by $5:

“Do you agree that WILPF US dues should be increased to $40 per year per person, effective for any dues payments made on or after January 1, 2026?”

If you are interested in membership issues or WILPF finances – consider joining one of our board committees – such as Membership, Development, Nominating, or Finance. Contact the relevant committee chair at the email address listed here. (Scroll down on that page to Current Board of Directors.)

Proposed Bylaws Amendment

There will be one proposed Bylaws amendment on the ballot, to increase the range of members eligible for the Board. Further details will be available in the mailed ballot packet, at the Candidates Forum, and (in November) on the semi-private election webpage.
