From Your

Associational Mission Strategist

Our camp season went very well this year. I am so grateful for how the Lord worked in the lives of the children who attended. There were several children who gave their lives to Christ! Praise God!

I want to thank the Directors, Kelly Childers, Dylan Oquinn, and Amber Posey for their leadership and all of the Camp Missionaries who served this summer. I also want to thank our churches and individuals who provided and served the meals for our camps! This is indeed one of the greatest ministries we have in our association and the support for these camps is a blessing. Please begin now to pray for next year's summer camps.

As most of you are aware, the Lord is leading me back into the local church ministry. I have accepted a call to be the Associate Pastor of Worship and Discipleship at FBC Sylvania. I will begin my ministry there on August 17th. I am grateful for the opportunity I have had to serve this association for over 15 years. It has been one of the greatest joys of my life. The Lord has blessed in so many ways, and I will be forever thankful for the blessing of serving you. Please pray for Laura and me as we will be getting ready to transition to my new ministry. I do plan to be at the Annual Meeting on September 13th at FBC Vienna, GA. I look forward to being with you and sharing with you how thankful I have been for your support. You will not want to miss this meeting. I am excited that Bro. Barry Snapp from Victory Baptist Church in Rockmart will be preaching. Barry is an anointed and powerful preacher, and I know you will be encouraged as he preaches from God's word. Our very own Steve Williams from Pinecrest Baptist Church will be leading us in worship. Please make plans to attend this celebration service for what God has done!
Laura and I love each of you and we will treasure you in our hearts for your support and encouragement to me as your Associational Mission Strategist and to Laura as the Administrative assistant! May God be praised for all that He has done in these many years of serving the great churches of this Network!

Pressing On Toward the Goal!
