Principal's Message

Welcome Back to School!

Consistent attendance is one of the most important factors in a student’s academic success. This year, our school is placing a strong emphasis on reducing absenteeism and improving punctuality, and we are asking for your partnership in this effort. Please review the Attendance Requirements for the new school year which was sent earlier today.

BRHS will continue its successful implementation of cell phone restrictions during instruction on campus. Educational research is abundantly clear: possession of cell phones within instructional environments negatively impacts learning. As a result, within instructional environments throughout BRHS, cell phones are not permitted to be present.

Students are permitted to use cell phones during passing time, lunch, and in study halls with teacher permission. Check out the policy and rationale.

If your student is a senior, you can also use that link to design their Senior Baby Ad. Baby Ads must be ordered before November 1st.

Filling out this form is optional - it will allow you to receive updates about yearbook, senior baby ads, and other important deadlines. You can opt-out of the notifications at any time. The information from this form will be sent to our yearbook publisher who will communicate with you directly. We will still send yearbook communications via our school channels as well. We will only provide your information if you fill out this form. Please fill out this form by Sunday, September 14 if you are interested in receiving emails from our yearbook publisher as well.

Seniors! Please join us on Basilone field bright and early at 6am on Friday September 12th for Senior Sunrise.

Fun, food, and memories will be served!

Student Portraits

Picture days will be held on Monday 9/15 and Tuesday 9/16 during PE classes in the SMALL GYM.

Students should report to their teacher first and they will bring you to get your picture taken. If a student does not have a PE class, they can go to the small gym during lunch. Students! Please check your email and Google Classrooms, as a schedule showing whether your class is going on Monday or Tuesday will be sent soon.

Bridgewater Recreation Registration

Bridgewater Recreation is offering a chance for boys in grades 9 – 12 to try rugby for free. There will be a free non-contact rugby clinic for boys in grades 9 - 12 run by some of the coaches from our 2025 New Jersey State Champion team coaches on September 13th. This non-contact clinic will focus on the fundamentals of the game. Rugby is a game where all players on the field have the opportunity to run, kick, pass, and score.
