Good evening,
I hope this email finds you well on a
hazy
but not lazy Thursday.
As mentioned in previous newsletters, our
Landmarks/ Land use Committee meets tonight at 630 PM
. Just a few quick items before I wish you well and recommend reading on.
There are
dolphins in the water
to our north, but in CB6’s most famous body of water, the Gowanus Canal,
we remain in a holding pattern
. While we wait, it may be of some interest to read about
EPA& DEC’s letter intending to clarify their roles
and ensuring that development on Public Place will be safe. Speaking of safe, this summer’s open streets program is once again
accepting applications
.
On that note, as promised, I’ll recommend reading on below, getting a COVID-19 shot ASAP, and enjoying the rest of your Thursday.
