As we finish up MFG Month, I want to thank our members who opened their facilities to welcome the future workforce and gave students an opportunity to see the great careers in manufacturing. We had at least 18 members conduct 22 tours with 877 students – the future workforce for our industry. If you’ve been curious about opening your facility and want insights on how to conduct an effective tour, contact Amy Stover for tips and best practices. Amy leads DRMA’s career outreach efforts, and she did a fantastic job this month coordinating members, schools, students, and even the DRMA staff to ensure we had another banner year in 2026. If you see, Amy be sure to thank her for a job well done!

Consider the DRMA Business Leads service as a source for connecting with potential customers who are looking for manufacturing suppliers. And remember to use the service if you are over capacity and need to outsource work. Email Shay and she’ll explain the process.

Attention Manufacturer members: Click here to see manufacturing-pertinent resumes I have received.

Congratulations to DRMA member Noel Davis, President of BIMAC Precision Castings and JBK Manufacturing on being named a 2026 Emerge Honoree by the Dayton Equity Center. Noel was recognized for his impact on the manufacturing industry during the Emerge Summit on 10/16.

DRMA extends our deepest sympathies to the family of David Neer, a longtime DRMA volunteer and advocate for the local manufacturing community. Dave was a Senior Member of DRMA and volunteered his time in many ways over the years, serving on our Government Relations, Governance, and Golf Committees.
