This past weekend, the downtown community showed up and showed out for our 38th Annual Fall Fest! Boulder Country Farmers Markets are still in full swing two times a week. Be sure to enjoy your mid-week pick-me-ups on Wednesdays from 3:30 PM - 7:30 PM before the last market on October 2nd. Saturday markets continue from 8 AM - 2 PM through November 23rd. Happy marketing!

East End Community Chair Live Painting

Coming soon to the East End of Pearl Street...new community art chairs! Saturday, September 28th while you Sip & Stroll your way along the East End, enjoy a special live painting event - five locally crafted Adirondack-style chairs will be painted by local artists: Juls Mendoza, Kate Fitzpatrick, Ryan Sauter, Melanie Damore and Simone White.
The artists will illustrate the theme of plants and animal life cycles. Then, starting Friday, October 4th, locals and visitors will be invited to participate in a community-wide vote for their favorite chairs with cash prizes for the first, second and third place winning artists. CU Homecoming Pearl Street Stampede

CU Homecoming Weekend has arrived...meet us on the 1300 block of the Pearl Street Mall this Friday, September 20th at 7 PM for the Homecoming edition of the Pearl Street Stampede! Cheer on members of the Golden Buffalo Marching Band, CU athletics, CU Spirit Team and of course...CU Mascot Chip! Led by Stephen Tebo's 1948 vintage gold fire truck, the parade will "stampede" into the sunset (heading west along the mall) - make sure to cheer loud and proud as the team plays against Baylor University the next evening.

Boulderthon weekend (Friday, September 27th - Sunday, September 29th) is just around the corner...keep reading to stay-in-the-know about expo and race day happenings including downtown impacts.***
Leading up to race day, stop by the Boulderthon Expo happening Friday, September 27th, 2 PM - 6 PM; Saturday, September 28th, 10 AM - 6 PM and Sunday, September 29th, 8:30 AM - 4 PM. Looking for more information? Check out this year's Downtown Vendor Map.
This year, all races will occur on Sunday, September 29th with waves starting as early as 7 AM. Check out this year's race schedule. Not participating in the races? Explore one of the Official Xcel Power-Up Cheer Stations to spectate and show support for the race participants. Fun Fact: the first spectators that show up to the cheer stations will receive special giveaways and Boulderthon swag! Find your cheer station today.
***Downtown road impacts will only occur on Boulderthon race day (Sunday, September 29th) - don't be fooled by 'no parking signs' being placed 72 hours prior to the race! Street parking impacts will occur on race day, and all city-owned parking garages will be OPEN (and FREE) during Boulderthon weekend and will remain open for the public. We encourage you to come downtown and support your local retailers and restaurants while enjoying race day activities!

The Chef Series by Savor Productions at Boulder County Farmers Market (BCFM) continues with the next Culinary Field Trip happening on Saturday, September 28th at 8 AM. This month’s field trip is led by Chef Daniel Asher of River & Woods restaurant.
