Amani hosts Allen County Welcoming Certification Audit

From April 8-10, we had the pleasure of hosting representatives from Welcoming America as they conducted a Certified Welcoming audit for Allen County. Over 40 community partners from across Allen County gathered over 2.5 days to share their organizations' efforts to advance immigrant inclusion and welcoming. It is only through the hard work and dedication of our community partners that this work is possible. Thank you for all that you do!

April 6-12: National Crime Victims' Rights Week

From April 6-12, Amani's Victim Care program took over our social media to shine a light on how we support victims of crime. We shared stories of resilience and resources. Thank you for joining us in raising awareness, offering compassion, and standing in solidarity with those impacted by crime. #NCVRW2025

Welcoming Fort Wayne Spotlight:

Iglesia Principe de Paz hosts 8th annual "Día del Niño" event for children, families

While some in the U.S. may be unfamiliar with the holiday, Children's Day is an important day in many Latin American countries when communities celebrate the well-being, happiness, and rights of children. Celebrations vary from giving gifts to hosting parties or even parades.

On April 26, 2025, Iglesia Principe de Paz and pastors Gaby and Ivan Aleman harnessed the power of community to host their very own "Día del Niño" or "Children's Day" event. Now in it's 8th year, Fort Wayne's own Día del Niño offered free food, children's activities, and important community resources. Learn more about Iglesia Principe de Paz Fort Wayne by visiting their Facebook page.

We partner with immigrant and refugee families and the community to promote safety, encourage personal growth, and foster a spirit of belonging.
