Congrats, Dr. Manheimer!

Congratulations to our Spanish teacher Renee Manheimer on achieving her Ph.D. As a Ph.D. candidate in Education in Curriculum Development and Instruction from the Pontifical Catholic University, Dr. Manheimer has been working this year on her Doctoral Practicum here at Crossroads Academy as part of the program requirements to complete her Ph.D. She put into practice the school’s Spanish curriculum, which she had previously developed during her doctoral studies. Please join us in congratulating Dr. Manheimer!

Faculty Update

Ms. Marchesi joined our team as a substitute, an assistant teacher, and then as our full time librarian when the pandemic postponed her plans to be certified in teaching high school.

The announcement that Ms. Marchesi will be moving on to the Mountain School to teach high school history is bittersweet. While we are so excited for her to be doing what she really loves, we will miss her so much here at Crossroads!
