Early Dismissal on Election Day: Tuesday, November 3
Cristo Rey Birmingham will dismiss early at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, November 3. This gives our eligible students, faculty, and staff time to vote on Election Day.

Pickup: Freshmen, juniors, and seniors may be picked up beginning at 1:00 PM

Study Hall: Students who aren’t picked up at 1:00 will wait in study hall in the gym until their ride arrives or the buses leave.

Buses: Buses will leave at 4:30 PM on their normal schedule.

Sophomores: Tuesday is a sophomore work day. Sophomores will work their normal hours and return to school around 4:00 PM.
Make Your Voice Heard
Taking part in community life is one of Cristo Rey’s core values, and voting is one of the most direct ways to do it. If you’re eligible to vote, we encourage you to make a plan for Tuesday: know where your polling place is and what time you’ll go. Students who aren’t old enough to vote yet can still take part by learning about the issues and talking about them at home.
