A carrier name and matching documents are a starting point. Before release, confirm who is giving the instructions and whether the person and equipment at the dock match the approved plan.

Three checks before the dock says yes:

✓ Verify the contact. Confirm instructions through independently verified carrier contact details.

✓ Match the pickup. Check the driver, truck and trailer against the approved assignment.

✓ Record the release. Name the approver and document the decision. Reverify changes before release.
