Happy New Year...and Welcome to the first newsletter of 2023. We hope your new year is off to a great start!
As I take a moment to write this newsletter, our first grandchild looks like she will be arriving today! What a whirlwind of events over the past months....needless to say, it's going to be a big day. So my goal is to get this email out before heading to the hospital...please excuse any unintended mistakes. :)
Every January is packed with special circumstances...from wrapping up year end, to keeping a close eye on the final projects to leave our factory before Chinese New Year. This year is no different and we actually look forward to February, when our factory staff takes a well-deserved break and we get to focus on long overdue tasks. As the years continue to fly by, it's nice to settle in a consistent groove, allowing time for new adventures.
This newsletter includes this month and last month's arrivals, January release schedule, best sellers from December and more. If you have any questions, just send us an email and we'll be happy to clarify.
This month, and possibly for the long term, we will be adjusting our new releases to Thursday afternoon/evenings. This mainly to sync better with our work schedules...and we hope that more of our customers may find themselves able to jump online at that time. This month's new releases are classic FDNY Mack CF Pumpers and Mack C Tower Ladders, as well as modern Chicago E-One Tower Ladders, including O'Hare's Tower Co. 63. We always recommend adding a note to your calendar about each release date in which you may have interest. Limited productions of some replicas sell through very quickly.
Later this month, we're expecting to receive the FDNY KME Engines and Philadelphia Seagrave Aerialscopes, as well as the upcoming release of FDNY 1984-86 Mack CF Engines. Our next shipment may not arrive until March, or even April.
For obvious reasons, the FDNY line has continued to be the anchor, as it's large global market affords us the ability to test other smaller markets. In 2023-24, we will continue to invest in new departments, as well as produce additional apparatus in existing lines. We hope to continue our pace of 2-3 new releases each month and are quite excited about that which is to come.
As we poke our heads above water this January, we thought it interesting that since our first release in late 2015, we have produced 583 replicas. Of which, stock remains on about 180, with 64 of those having less than 10 units left. We are grateful for you, our elite group of collectors, as this business only exists because of your passion for the fire service and high quality representations of your favorite rigs. So thank you!

We hope each of you has a great first month of 2023!
