This Week at Corpus Christi

Dear Parents,

Since 2003, all children and youth in the Archdiocese of Mobile, in grades Pre-K through 12, have been trained annually in a Safe Environments program. The program, developed and sponsored by the Office for the Protection of Minors and Adults, offers strategies to protect themselves from those who would harm them. This program is taught in religion classes in schools and through classes in parish religious and youth ministry programs. During the month of October, the Safe Environments Program will be presented to students by our teachers. When this is taught, your children will bring home some homework to be shared with you. Please review it together and discuss with your children the importance of their personal safety.

Kindly,

Kristy F. Martin

Crazy Hair Day

Wednesday, October 1st

On Wednesday, October 1st we will take part in raising money for St. Jude Children's Hospital with our annual Crazy Hair Day. Donate $2 or more and come to school with your CRAZIEST HAIR! Corpus Christi School has participated in this fundraiser for St. Jude for many years in memory of former CCS student, Andre Colletti, who lost his battle with leukemia in 2012. Mrs. Piccici's son, Jake, was best friends with Andre and she helps to coordinate this fundraiser each year. If you've ever visited our gym, you'll have likely seen the photo of Andre on display along with his #34 jersey in the entryway.

All donations made to St. Jude for Crazy Hair Day are tax deductible. Checks are accepted. Please make check donations payable to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. St. Jude Children’s Hospital is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer. Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food. Andre received treatment for leukemia at St. Jude and we continue to honor his memory by participating in this fundraiser.

Toy Bowl Fundraiser

Prayer for September

Our Father

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
