Lan Cai, CFA
Deputy CIO, The Pension Boards - United Church of Christ (PBUCC)
Ms. Lan Cai, CFA, is Deputy Chief Investment Officer of The Pension Boards – United Church of Christ, she also invests for the UCF endowment. Her focuses are global asset allocation and manager selection in all asset classes. A 20-year veteran of the financial industry, Ms. Cai served as Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at Millennium Partners, where she managed a global event-driven portfolio. Prior to Millennium, Ms. Cai spent 12 years at PineBridge Investments and its predecessor, AIG Global Investments. She was Managing Director and Head Portfolio Manager for multi-billion dollar equity strategies that span the continuum of Portable Alpha Index Plus, Global Research Enhanced, Tax-efficient High Income, and Merger Arbitrage. Ms. Cai chaired the firm’s Product Committee and was a member of the Investment Committee. She started her career at the CME Group in 1996 and became a Director of Financial Product Research and Development. Ms. Cai received an MBA from the University of Chicago and is a CFA charterholder. She serves on non-for-profit and hedge fund boards, and is an active member of the Economic Club of New York.
Alecia DeCuollo, CFA, CAIA
Senior Associate, Mercer
Alecia DeCuollo is a portfolio construction specialist within Mercer’s Private Markets Practice. She works with the investment diligence team to provide portfolio planning and construction for Mercer’s flagship private markets funds, as well as select delegated clients. She previously worked with the equity portfolio management team, focusing on the development of custom target date fund programs for OCIO and advisory clients, as well as providing support for MercerWise and Mercer equity funds. Prior to Mercer, she worked in the Capital Markets and Risk Team at Summit Strategies Group, as well as the Treasury Division at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. Alecia holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the Pennsylvania State University and a master’s degree in applied economics from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Alecia has also earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designations.
Jen Ford
Portfolio Specialist, Ninety One
Jen is a portfolio specialist at Ninety One, responsible for product management across the range of strategies with a primary focus on Emerging Markets, Asia and China. In this role, Jen represents the team and its strategies with clients, as well as helping to develop solutions for clients and dealing with complex queries. Prior to joining Ninety One, Jen was a portfolio specialist at JPMorgan Asset Management in its US Equities team for five years and its Emerging Markets Asia Pacific Equities team for four years. Jen started her career in New York at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, where she was a portfolio specialist in the Quantitative Investment Strategies Group covering both long-only and hedge fund strategies. Jen earned a degree in Bachelor of Arts from Columbia University.
Basak Yavuz
Partner, Goldman Sachs Asset & Wealth Management
Basak is a partner in Fundamental Equity within Goldman Sachs Asset Management, serving as co-head of Emerging Markets Equities. She is also a portfolio manager for the Emerging Markets Equity Fund. Prior to assuming her current role, she was head of Latin America and EMEA Equities based in London, with primary research responsibility for the consumer and energy sectors. Basak joined Goldman Sachs as an executive director in 2011. She was named managing director in 2017 and partner in 2022. Before joining the firm, Basak worked at HSBC Asset Management in London as a portfolio manager for frontier markets, covering Asia and Eastern Europe. Earlier in her career, she was an emerging market equities research analyst at Alliance Bernstein for eight years working in various capacities. Basak is on the board of EMpower –The Emerging Markets Foundation – a global nonprofit that partners with local organizations in emerging market countries, and other change-makers, to enable marginalized young people to transform their lives and communities. She also serves on the board of The HALO Trust USA, the world’s largest humanitarian mine clearance organization working in post-conflict zones to clear mines and explosives and helping families rebuild their lives in war-torn countries and territories around the world. Basak earned a BA, with honors, in Economics and Management from Bosphorus University in Turkey.
Dana Hildebrandt
Head of Consultant Relations, North America, Ninety One
Dana is Head of Consultant Relations within the North American Client Group at Ninety One. Based in New York, Dana is responsible for driving business development and managing relationships within the consultant channel, while leading a team of consultant relations professionals across the region. Dana joined Ninety One in 2023 from State Street Global Advisors where she was a Head of Consultant Relations. Prior to that, she was Director of Investments at Willis Towers Watson. Dana earned an MBA in Finance from Rutgers Business School.
