Angela King & friends, Mardi Gras 2024

Mardi Gras has rolled around again and the city is gearing up! Hopefully the weather will warm up to allow for the

fun and frivolity the day always brings!

Above is a grove of trees we created a few years back.

Creativity abounds all over the city..

In celebration of this, we have mounted a Dr Seuss show that embraces 10 tenets or Seussian advice in life. Share wisdom, Face hard decisions, Seek inspiration everywhere, Be part of the solution....

Come and see it or take a tour remotely.

January offered us the opportunity to put proposals together for a third of our artists to submit art to a public art project. In doing this, my respect and admiration of our artists was heightened. I didn't think I could love them anymore, but the level of art I was able to present is superior. Enjoy a sampling of these marvelous artists at their

creative best...with gratitude, Angela

Below are examples of art that four of our artists are proposing to public art spaces. Jacobo Roa, Richard Currier, Aaron Reichert

Looking through the wrong end of the telescope

10 Seussian Tenets for a Passionate Life

This exhibition features rare and significant works from the collection, offering a guided journey through Ted Geisel’s career—also known as Dr. Seuss—explored through ten guiding principles such as taking risks, seeking inspiration, and sharing wisdom. These rare artworks have inspired four generations to see life, as Dr. Seuss said, “through the wrong end of the telescope.”
