We’re gaining important momentum on Capitol Hill for the Make American Flags in America Act (H.R. 1421 / S.900), and this is a great opportunity for NIFDA members to help move the legislation forward.

As the bill advances through the House Judiciary Committee, it’s important that Members of Congress hear directly from businesses in the American flag industry.

Please take a few minutes this week to contact your Members of Congress:

1. Find your representatives here: https://www.congress.gov/members/find-your-member 
2. Update this template letter by filling in the yellow-highlighted sections with your company information.
3. Email the letter to all three of your Members of Congress - your two U.S. Senators and your House Representative.
4. Email members@nifda.net once you’ve sent your letters and let us know which offices you contacted so we can continue follow-up outreach.

Grassroots outreach from our members plays a critical role in building awareness and support for this legislation among Members who have already co-sponsored the bill and those who have not yet signed on.
