Updates From The Sea Pines CSA

Maintenance Department

Greenwood Drive Project Update

On Monday, January 28 and Tuesday, January 29 crews will be completing permanent line striping, as well as the installation of raised roadway reflectors along Greenwood Drive between Club Course Drive and Governors Road.

These portions of the project were planned to occur this week, but were delayed by weather.

Deer Island Bridge Project Update

Removal of the bridge decking will begin on Monday. During this work, we will employ alternating lanes for traffic.

The waterway under the Deer Island Bridge is considered part of this work zone and should be avoided by those kayaking during this planned work.

Our contractor will be mobilizing on Monday, January 28 in order to stabilize the soil behind the bulkhead. They will be bringing in large trucks and equipment, the work is expected to take place on Tuesday, weather permitting.

Lawton Canal Timber Bridge Construction Update

The demolition of the existing timber bridge is scheduled to begin the middle of next week, weather permitting.

Flag Pole Repairs to occur

We have temporarily removed the American Flag located at the Sea Pines Circle, in order to make repairs to the flag pole. Repairs are expected to take one week, weather permitting. The flag will be replaced once the work is completed.

When you see something that looks out of place, please report it to our security department promptly by calling 843.671.7170. The sooner we get the information, the quicker we can assist.

Remove the opportunity for theft by locking your car doors and removing your personal property when away from your vehicle.
