Perhaps a new four-legged family member will make the perfect gift with the holiday season upon us. Kylo is energetic, friendly and ready to play with anyone in the household, including children. He loves walks and enjoy chew toys! Want to meet him? Set up a meet-and-greet by contacting the Humane Society of Broward County.

We want to make our community aware of a growing scam trend involving Bitcoin ATMs. Nationally, scammers are using these machines to trick victims, especially senior citizens, into sending money through fake phone calls, online threats, and impostor schemes (IRS, utilities, tech support, “your family member is in trouble,” etc.).

Here, in Cooper City, we have already received two reported cases connected to this type of fraud.
