Take Part in World Give Day

Funds raised support NC STEM, the arts and faith formation

This year, Day of Giving becomes World Give Day at NC, a time to come together and invest in what matters most: Our students.

Your World Give Day gift will directly fuel transformative learning experiences in STEM, the Arts, and Faith Formation. From hands-on science exploration to artistic expression and spiritual growth, every contribution strengthens our classrooms and expands opportunities for all students.

At Newark Catholic High School, we are committed to preparing students not just for success, but for purpose. Your generosity sparks curiosity, nurtures talent, and opens doors to bright futures.

We can’t do this without you! Please help make World Give Day at NC a powerful success for our current and future students.

A True Inspiration

Remembering Clair Schell

With heavy hearts, we share our deepest sympathy with all members of the Newark Catholic High School community as we remember and honor a remarkable individual whose presence helped shape our foundation, Mr. Clair Schell.

Through unwavering stewardship, generous spirit, and a profound belief in the mission of our school, Clair helped cultivate an environment where students could thrive, educators could inspire, and values could take root. His contributions were not only measured in what he generously provided to NC, but in the countless lives he touched and the enduring legacy he leaves behind.

He was much more than a steward of NC, he was part of the heart-beat of the green and white. Among his many accolades in life, he was the recipient of the first Newark Catholic High School Foundation Legacy Award and founding member, NCAA Inagural Hall of Fame Award of Merit honoree, founding member of No-Namers (NC Booster Club), and staunch constituent.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to his beloved Julie, their boys Hans and Chris, the entire Schell family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. May we honor Clair’s memory by carrying forward the act of generosity and commitment he so beautifully embodied.

One Catholic community. Multiple schools. One shared mission.

Newark Catholic is excited to launch a collaborative marketing effort with its family of schools: St. Francis, Blessed Sacrament, St. Vincent and St. Pius. Each school is committed to helping our community members see the lifelong path of Catholic education available to them.
