We are pleased to announce ICE Gen 4 first workshop for season 2025/2026. The workshop will take place at the Joffrey Ballet School in Long Island City (NYC, Queens), on November 22nd – 26th, 2025.

For registration, students are required to complete this form (also available on @the. ice.page bio on Instagram). Registration closes September 20th.

The NYC workshop will also serve as an audition for the ICE Gen 4 cast for scheduled performances later in the season.

ICE is a curated program designed to give young dancers the opportunity to have an immersive experience of working in a professional contemporary dance company – including casting, rehearsals, being part of the choreographic process, travel, and performances.

At this workshop, participants will have the rare exposure to perform in works from some of the most dynamic contemporary choreographers active today. These include the acclaimed Sharon Eyal, Nadav Zelner, Noa Zuk and Alexander Ekman.

Acceptance to ICE is by invitation or audition only, for dancers ages 14 - 19. The program is open, without audition, to 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place winners in the Contemporary Dance Senior category at any of the YAGP 2024-2025 Season semi-finals in the U.S. and worldwide.

Dancers may apply by filling this electronic form, and will be requested to submit a video audition (either a contemporary solo, a contemporary combination(s), or an improvisation, up to 3 minutes in length), as well as a headshot.

The registration fee for participating in ICE NYC workshop is $650 USD. Dancers will be responsible for their individual travel and accommodation arrangements.

Participation in the NYC workshop does not guarantee casting to any of the ICE performances. Although the NYC workshop will serve as an audition opportunity, the ICE performances will be announced separately and may bear separate registration fees.
