We were pleased to provide scholarships to two highly deserving Ferris students in December, and now it's time to start planning for this year's used book sale to raise money for our 2024 scholarships.

There will be a book sale planning meeting this Saturday, January 13, at 10:00 a.m. Many thanks to Sarah Lucas for hosting us in her home at 422 Linden Street, Big Rapids.

Please plan to attend to support new book sale coordinators, Kim Angell and Debbie Newman. The annual book sale is an ensemble event, and we need everyone to participate.

We had great turnout for the annual Holiday Dinner and Scholarship Celebration. A big thank you to Kristen Salomonson for chairing the scholarship committee, and much gratitude to the other members of the committee as well: Diane Blain, Ann Breitenwischer, Millie Gillies, and Geryl Lobert.

Scholarship recipient Kamilla Bagley is a fully online Ferris student from Plymouth, MI. Because of the distance, she was not able to attend the dinner, but Kristen connected with her via phone during the dinner, and we were happy to hear some of her personal story.
