Happy Thursday, and a blessed Feast of the Transfiguration of the Lord!

This weekend at Old St. Mary's, we welcome Julie Lynch for our annual Mission Cooperative Appeal. Each year, parishes throughout the Archdiocese are invited to support the ways the mission of the Catholic Church is lived around the world.

This year, OSM will support St. Patrick's Missionary Society, a community of missionary priests founded in Ireland that has served in Africa and other parts of the world since 1932. In particular, our appeal will support the feeding programs at St. Joseph Parish in Narus, South Sudan. Thank you in advance for your generosity!

Please also mark your calendars for the many events coming up at the parish in the weeks ahead, especially our Annual Parish Picnic and the beginning of Sunday Faith Formation.

Finally, an FYI that our patronal feast day, The Assumption of Mary, will be celebrated on Saturday, August 15, at a Mass at 10:00 AM.
