International Conference on Transport & Health
Smart Cities. Disruptive Mobility. Healthy People.
|
Pullman Melbourne on the Park
Melbourne, Australia
4-8 November 2019
|
It is anticipated that there will be transformational changes to transport service capabilities within the short time that it will take to plan, design and implement the conventional infrastructure project. That being said, transport and governmental agencies must be flexible enough to accommodate the changes expected in technology over the next few years. In particular, the probability that fully autonomous self-driving vehicles will become commercially available by 2020. This alone, would be a game changer, and directly impact transport service delivery and the quality of life within the affected communities. A look forward today will ensure that the demands of a diverse and growing population are met, thereby making local communities an attractive place to live, work and play.
International Conference on Transport & Health (ICTH) 2019-Melbourne aims to provide valuable insights into the health impacts of technological disruptions in transport and urban planning, governance, strategic and policy decision-making, performance tools and the potential return on investment of a dynamic system. Join us to learn HOW the most innovative minds in academia, practice and policy are bridging the gap between scientific investigation and real-world application.

ICTH Registration
The ICTH 2019-Melbourne Programme Committee is dedicated to ensuring that you receive the greatest return on investment; financial, time and human interaction. This is not an event in which you can passively co-exist or participate virtually. It's meant to keep you engaged emotionally, intellectually and physically.
- Full/Standard Registration - Do you want to experience the totality of ICTH? Register for the full three day conference to be completely immersed in the latest research and practice projects. Oh, and don't forget about all of the networking social events that are included with this option. See you soon!
- One-Day Registration - New this year, ICTH is offering a one-day registration for local attendees (not available to presenting authors) who may not have the time to dedicate to remaining on-site for all three days. Take a look at the on-line programme to determine which day looks the most interesting based on your specific area of research and/or practice. This is a great opportunity to share your expertise and gain real-world knowledge on the dynamic interaction of transport and health.
- Companion Registration - The Programme Committee has always encouraged delegates to plan their holiday as part of ICTH. This is why the conference is held in really cool locations. So, why not bring your spouse, the kids (under 15 years of age) or a friend to join in on all of the planned social activities? The companion registration fee also includes access to daily lunches and breaks. What a deal! However, companions will not be permitted to attend scientific sessions; except for the session in which their representative ICTH delegate is presenting. Visit the Final Registration web page for details. Note that a separate registration must be completed for each companion guest.

- Foster a collective social conscience whereby delegates consistently reflect upon the formation and implications of their own reasoning;
- Encourage argumentation skills that are essential for thinking and reasoning processes and mirror the types of discourse utilized in real-world scientific deliberations;
- Promote critical thinking skills, such as analysis, inference, explanation, evaluation, interpretation, and self-regulation.
