Miles for Mammos 5k

October 17, 2026

9:00am

This flat, fast race kicks off at 9am after an energizing warmup. This course is perfect for walkers and runners of all ages and abilities and is stroller friendly! Around the halfway point is a water station to hydrate you as you make your way to the finish line. Coming up the final stretch you will be greeted by cheers from spectators and fellow runners. You’ll receive a finishers medal after crossing the finish line and be able to refuel with the delicious post-race snacks!

All proceeds from our Miles for Mammos 5K benefit Julie's Pink Warrior Project, which provides free screening mammograms to individuals in Onslow County that are under insured or uninsured. 

Check out the JOSC Race Series leaderboard. We have highlighted those that have earned the year-end plaque holder and those that have earned the year-end medal along with those that only need one more race (Fuzzy Peach Trail Run) to earn it.
