Dear Optimist Club Presidents,
We are approaching the halfway mark of the 2024-2025 Optimist year!
Please note the announcements below; you have one day to submit your OIF Club Grant (it’s not a difficult application, you can do it!), and please get your club officer trainings completed, and plan a new Optimist recruitment event!

OIF Club Grant Application Deadline, March 21 — Any adult club served by OIF is eligible to apply for a grant for a NEW project. The requested amount can range between $250 - $1,000. The project must start and finish between April 2025 and March 2026. Application and information: https://www.oifoundation.org

Deadline Approaching — Optimist Institute Club Officer Training – The 2024-25 Officer Training modules will close on March 31; they will not be available beyond that date. Completion of the officer training modules are one of the requirements for Club and District recognition. Make sure that your club officers have completed their respective training.

Welcome Optimists Worldwide (W.O.W.) — Now is a great time to hold a member recruitment event for your club. A Traditional “New Optimists Welcome” event is a great way to introduce friends and family to Optimism. However, planning an event that fits your club and community will bring the best results. Perhaps a virtual event, or add a social or recruitment component to one of your great club activities!
