All Souls Day Mass Invitation

Fr. Ubel and I would like to extend a special invitation to all Saint Agnes School families to attend this year’s Requiem Mass on All Souls Day, Monday, November 2 at 6:30 p.m. The Mass features a beloved musical masterpiece by the world-renowned composer, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. But this year, it is particularly special because Saint Agnes is privileged to welcome Kurt Cardinal Koch, Prefect of the Dicastery for Promoting Christian Unity as the celebrant.

A light dessert reception sponsored by the parish Altar and Rosary Society follows immediately after Mass (approximately 8:15 p.m.) in the school Commons, where you will have a chance to greet the Cardinal. If you have never experienced this Mass of our beloved dead with this powerful musical accompaniment, we hope you may be able to do so this year.

Flowers for the Dominican Sisters' Chapel

Please sign up to bring flowers for the Dominican Sisters’ chapel. This is the chapel on the second floor of our school building where the Sisters pray daily (and our students are frequently visiting the Blessed Sacrament as well). The sign-up link is: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/4090F4BADAE29AAF58-65475840-flowers#/. The flowers needed are 4 bunches of flowers and 2 bunches of greens. These are quite affordable at Trader Joe’s or other grocery stores. Carnations and lilies are wonderful as they have a long life. Thank you for helping make God’s house beautiful!
