ANNOUNCING! Cytopathology Crash Course

April 5 – 6, 2025

The ASC is announcing recruitment of faculty for its 2025 Cytopathology Crash Course. The Crash Course will provide a live, virtual high-yield review of cytopathology morphology and concepts for trainees, as well as a refresher course on core cytopathology concepts for practitioners. The course’s target audience is pathology residents, cytopathology fellows, junior cytologists, practicing pathologists and cytologists, and experienced pathologists seeking a review of cytopathology concepts.

CALL FOR FACULTY

At this time, the Cytopathology Crash Course Committee is soliciting junior faculty for the 2025 Cytopathology Crash Course. Junior pathologist faculty must have passed the AP board exam by the time the course takes place, but be no longer than 7 years out of training. Junior cytologist (cytotechnologist) faculty must have passed the board exam by the time the course takes place and currently be in practice, no longer than 7 years out from training.

To apply, junior faculty must submit a 5-to-8-minute pre-recorded audition on a cytopathology topic of their choice, a Curriculum Vitae (CV), and topics you are interested in presenting. Senior members are encouraged to send nominations for junior faculty, though a nomination is not required for consideration.

Deadline to submit is December 1, 2024
