VALLEJO -The Vallejo Police Department (VPD) invites community members and stakeholders to attend a town hall meeting on Tuesday, December 1, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Vallejo Room, located at 505 Santa Clara Street, Vallejo, CA 94590.
During the meeting, VPD will present the Vallejo Evaluator Team's (VET) Year Two Annual Report, which provides an independent assessment of VPD's progress under the Settlement Agreement with the California Department of Justice (DOJ).
The presentation will provide an overview of VPD's reform progress, requirements that have achieved substantial compliance, outstanding requirements, and priorities for Year Three. VPD will also present a community climate report addressing current crime trends and departmental staffing.
The Vallejo Police Department encourages community participation as part of its continued commitment to transparency, accountability, and public engagement throughout the reform process.
