Message from the Commissioner
Holy Name Parish School is excited to welcome back its basketball program for the 2026/2027 season!
The intent of this program is for kids to have as much fun as possible while learning the basic fundamentals of individual and team play. The program also teaches the kids about pride in their school as they proudly wear their uniforms to play other Catholic schools like St. Theresa's and Mount Alvernia Academy.
All students in grades 1 -6 are eligible to play with teams broken into three divisions:
- 1/2 grade team - Coed - Red Team and Blue Team
- 3/4 grade team - Coed - Red Team and Blue Team
- 5/6 grade team - Separate Boys Team and Girls Team
Pending how many coaches sign up, we may have to limit player registrations on a first-come, first-serve basis. Linked Here is the Coaching Sign-Up Form
Practice will be one night per week on Thursday or Friday with games on Saturday and/or Sunday with an occasional Friday night game mixed in. The practice schedule will be determined at the coach's meeting and shared with families in November.
At this time, the other participating schools are all still finalizing their programs and registrations so there is no confirmed number of games yet.
Practices will likely begin the week after Thanksgiving with more details to follow over the next few weeks. The season will continue through the beginning of March.
Registration is now open through Friday, November 6th.

Notice: Deadline for registration is Friday, 11/6. Late registrations will be handled on a case-by-case basis pending availability. In the rare exception that we do allow players to register late, you will not receive a personalized uniform.
We need to finalize list for uniforms so we will have our uniforms before the first game in December.
