Primary Election Statement from Senate President-Designate Ben Albritton

Tonight is proof positive that candidates matter.

"I could not be more proud of my friend Corey Simon. Corey is a world-class leader, whose tireless work to support every corner of his 13 county district resulted in tonight’s resounding victory. Florida’s future is better with him helping lead us through the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.

"I am proud to return a super majority to the Florida Senate including those winning re-election tonight: Senators Bryan Avila, Danny Burgess, Erin Grall, Gayle Herrell, Ed Hooper, Blaise Ingoglia and Jonathan Martin; and welcoming newly elected Senators Randy Fine, Don Gaetz, Tom Leek, Keith Truenow and Stan McClain."
