Deadline: October 22
In celebration of National Farm to School Month, National Farm to School Network is recognizing the invaluable contributions community members across the nation make towards supporting and feeding children and families in our communities. These community members may go by many names – farmer, school nutrition professional, neighbor, teacher, gardener, volunteer, and more – but they’ve all risen to the call for collaboration, partnership and creativity to feed our nation's kids and support equity and access in the food system. Who are your community food champions? Nominate them to receive a $500 honorarium and be named a National Farm to School Network Community Food Champion this October. Learn more and submit your nominations by Oct. 22, 2020 at farmtoschool.org/champions.
