August 2008!

Hello friends,

We’re entering our 17th growing season since breaking ground in August 2008 — and there’s still time to join us for the journey!

We have space for a few more CSA members to close out the 2025 farming year and get a head start to reserve a space for 2026.

With your membership, you’ll enjoy farm-fresh produce, access to fresh eggs, grass-fed meats, dairy, and more, all raised with care using sustainable practices. It's not meant to replace your trip to the produce section or market, but to enhance it.

Most of our members are couples or singles - maybe a young child or two. We distribute market style, asking folks to take what they'll consume that week, sharing with other members what they won't. Quantities depend on availability, which depends on Nature's cooperation. We do not supplement with outside produce.

I’ve already started planting and am excited to share that Farmer Tim, a skilled grower with 10 years of experience, has joined the farm to help expand our offerings. Plus, we’ve partnered with a local dairy to bring you even more fresh options!

CSA Membership Perks:

  • Weekly shares of seasonal, nutrient-dense produce as harvests allow
  • Optional access to farm-fresh eggs, meats, cheese & milk
  • Hands-on or hands-off participation
  • You-Pick by appointment—even on non-share weekends
  • Reduced rates for work-share members

Membership Options:

  • $375/quarter (due Jan 1, Apr 1, July 1, Oct 1)
  • $1500/year — just $125/month for year-round access!

Easy Ways to Pay:

  • Zelle to 214-348-3336 (send in your application by snail or email)
  • Snail Mail a check to the PO Box listed on the application
  • PayPal (add 3%: $45 for annual, $11.50 for quarter)

Your support ensures this local farm keeps growing strong.

We’d love to have you in the CSA this year. Nourish your body, support local agriculture, and be part of something deeply rooted.

Thanks for supporting your local farm,

Farmer Marie

You'll start getting a weekly newsletter as harvest time gets closer.

I plant pretty much all year round, and depending on how nice Nature is to us, we pick about 30 or so weeks a year. Plus, if we don't have a scheduled pick up, we'll often take appts for pick your own. Our CSA members have access to the farm, by appt, all year round.

The Future of Urban Farming

Farmer Marie is always planning for the future. Plans for a dynamic agri-village called Pioneer Grove are currently on hold. It's a pretty unique concept that you can read all about here.

We had hoped the City would approve our rezoning last spring, so a new generation could live, work, and thrive at Eden’s.

Young farmers, local business owners, and future homeowners are ready—but we’re still fighting to reverse the denial or find a buyer who will honor the farm’s legacy.

In the meantime, the animals still need feeding, equipment needs repairs, and the farm still has bills to pay.

Join our CSA today to support this local, urban farm during a critical time. Thank you!
