Multiple Listing Options for Sellers Policy

On Tuesday, March 25, NAR announced a new Multiple Listing Options for Sellers policy, designed to complement the existing Clear Cooperation Policy and other MLS policies. While the policy is officially effective as of March 25, MLSs have until September 30, 2025, to implement it.

PrimeMLS will begin developing our approach to this policy, including assessing any necessary updates to our MLS software. As they become available, we’ll inform all PrimeMLS customers with detailed updates and guidance.

At this time, no changes have been made to PrimeMLS systems or policies related to this announcement.

PrimeMLS Billing Reminders

As a reminder, all PrimeMLS customers are now individually billed for quarterly fees. This means that everyone has the ability to log in at www.myprimemls.com and pay their bill under "Account Balances." Quarter 2 fees are due by April 1st.

Make Payments Easier By Storing Payment Info or AutoPay

You can store your credit card on the PrimeMLS Dashboard by tapping the "Member" menu and selecting "My Profile." Then choose the "Payment on File" tab and follow the instructions for storing your credit card.

Compliance Corner

Reminder: Do Not Use Listing Photos Without Permission

The PrimeMLS Compliance team has seen a resurgence in the misuse of listing photos. As a reminder, per PrimeMLS Rules Section 1.2.E, written permission from the photo owner is required before submitting it to the compilation. Some agents mistakenly believe that images are "stock" photos, but if you did not take the photo or hire the photographer who did, you likely do not have the right to use it.

The best rule of thumb is if you didn't take it, don't use it. Just because a photo appears online or in another listing does not mean it is free to use.
