Staff Book Recommendation

This July, staff member Res recommends David Eddings' 1989 novel The Diamond Throne, book one in The Elenium series.

"The book is set in a fantasy world that reminds me of D&D. I adore the main character Sparhawk - he's a sarcastic and witty knight, but also deeply loyal to his people. The novel blends epic adventure, political intrigue, and memorable characters with a touch of humor, creating an engaging and immersive story. Plus, the narrator of the audiobook also voices the character Tristan Taylor from

Yu-Gi-Oh and his range is amazing!"
