Thank you to everyone who participated in our recent lunch survey! Carolyn will share the full results at our next meeting, but here’s a quick preview:

  • The majority of members feel that sharing lunch together is an important part of fellowship during our meetings. Most members indicated they would be willing to pay between $10-$15 for a meal, with many open to contributing even if they don’t eat. There was also a strong preference for hot meals or soup and sandwich options.

New Member Induction: A warm welcome to Andy Meisner from Community Unity Bank, our newest Royal Oak Rotarian! We’re thrilled to have you with us, Andy!

Happy Bucks:

  • Ray – Happy to be a Bell Ringer
  • Andy – Excited to be a new member and for a recent family trip to Disney
  • Nathan – Celebrated his daughter’s birthday and honored Veterans Day

Happy 90th Birthday to Carolyn's Dad-Ross Dawson

Thank you for for indulging me with this post about my dad’s 90th birthday. Many of you know my sister and I have been supporting him through some serious health challenges as he transitions into more supported living. We had a wonderful 90th birthday celebration on the 13th. He was exhausted but thrilled, and we’re so grateful he could be part of this milestone.

Our guest speakers from Oasis-Senior Advisors, Christina and Vickie

Oasis Senior Advisors helps families find senior living options that best match their loved ones' needs. They offer free guidance, assessing both health and financial situations to find appropriate care communities. n.b. I apologize for not having a picture of the speakers, however, I attended the meeting via Zoom (thanks for your help Ryan!). However their card is above.
